Communication goes beyond spoken words. Every child deserves to be heard, understood, and supported. Because communication is a fundamental right, each child should have access to the method that best meets their unique needs and empowers them to express their thoughts, needs, ideas, and feelings.

More than words.

Meaningful communication.

Speech Therapy

Your child will receive individualized therapy based on their unique strengths and areas of need. Sessions use evidence-based treatment approaches, parent coaching, and home practice activities to support steady progress. I believe partnering with families is an important part of therapy. After each session, I will typically provide a brief update about what we worked on, how your child did, and ways you can support their communication skills at home.

Length: Sessions typically last 30-45 minutes, depending on the SLP’s recommendation, the family’s preference, and the child’s needs.

Evaluations

A comprehensive evaluation will be completed to help me better understand your child's communication strengths and needs. This will include caregiver input, clinical observation, and a standardized assessment(s). Informal assessments may also be included. After the evaluation, you will receive a detailed written report with the results, recommendations, and an individualized treatment plan designed specifically for your child.

Length: Approximately 1-2 hours

Parent Coaching

You know your child better than anyone, and I believe parents and caregivers are an essential part of their child's progress. During therapy, we will work together to build your confidence by providing education, coaching, and research-based strategies that you can use during everyday routines at home. Together, we will plan, practice, reflect, and problem-solve so you feel supported in helping your child develop their communication skills outside of therapy.
